GET A FEEL FOR THE CITY
Life in Riyadh.
Riyadh is Saudi Arabia's capital and largest city, a sprawling inland business and government centre where nearly everyone lives in apartments or villa compounds and gets around by car. Olaya, Sulaimaniyah and Al Wurud are the established central districts near the office towers, while Al Nakheel, Hittin, Al Malqa and Al Yasmin in the north are the newer expat-favoured areas close to KAFD. The Riyadh Metro, opened in stages from late 2024, runs through Olaya, KAFD and the old centre.
